| China has a five-day workweek. Most government departments and offices open from 8am to 5pm or 9am to 6pm on weekdays with one hour lunch break, or two hours break with a noon-lap time. Tourist attractions, museums, banks and department stores do not close on weekends. Most restaurants open late. In South China, some restaurants and store open till very late even over night. |
